Youth-led environmental education for healthier schools, stronger communities, and a more informed future.
Earth & Us brings hands-on environmental workshops to elementary students in Frisco. We teach students how daily systems like cafeteria waste, recycling bins, storm drains, playground heat, and land use connect to public health, civic responsibility, and the future of their community.
Students often hear messages like "recycle," "save water," and "don't litter," but they rarely learn how these actions connect to larger systems. Earth & Us changes that. Through hands-on workshops, students discover the real-world connections between their schools' operations, their community infrastructure, and environmental health. When a student learns where their lunch tray goes, or how storm drains carry pollutants that affect wildlife and water quality, they begin to see themselves as active participants in environmental stewardship.
This matters because environmental knowledge built early—grounded in local, observable systems—creates informed, empowered citizens who care about public health, environmental justice, and sustainable practices. By teaching students in grades 3–5, we reach them at a critical age for building civic responsibility and scientific thinking. Earth & Us empowers the next generation of environmental leaders.
